Went to see Arctic Monkeys last night at Newcastle, and the Vaccines were supporting (and they were amazing!) Oh my god. I've tried to describe how good it was, but there really are no words, it was beyond incredible. The Arctic Monkeys are my favourite band of all time, but it was still a million times better than I expected, still can't believe that I was in the same room as them. And they sung Mardy Bum, and I almost cried, seriously. Have never screamed so loud in my entire life.
And at one point Alex Turner said "happy birthday" to someone, and everyone was saying that he said it to Alexa Chung (I thought he did too!) but it turns out he said it to some other random girl. But I am still going to believe that he was saying it about Alexa Chung, because it is so perfect.
Anyway, yeah, I'd give anything to see them again tomorrow! Such a good night.
