I realised recently that I don't write very much on this blog anymore, and it struck me as odd because I started this blog because a) I was unbearably bored, and b) because my family were kind of sick of me rambling about my new issues of ELLE and the various reasons why I wanted to be Alexa Chung and buy clothes. And I just think recently I've sort of forgot about that, and I haven't really felt enthusiastic about anything really, least of all fashion.
However when I got my ELLE Collections the other day, I kind of got that all back, like that odd childish excitement at getting something that connected me with a world that I'm obsessed with, and the way that I'll pour over every page and learn it like I never will for science (which is sad, 'cause I'm beyond crap at science). So yeah, I thought I should try and remember why I like fashion, and write it down, because this is my blog, although it sort of hasn't felt that way lately. And like, I dunno, what I wear and take pictures of, it doesn't show what's in my head or my actual personal style very well right now, well I don't think so anyway.
I don't really know if anyone reads wordy posts, and mine are hardly eloquent, but here we go, I've finally got something to do this summer (LIE, actually I have a bit too much to do but internet procrastination > all of that) and I suppose I'm going to learn to fall back in love with fashion again, kind of.
AAAAAGH THAT IS SO CRINGEY, OH LOOORD.
I'll probably edit loads of this later, aha.
But it's true. So... yeah. :)
